So...You Want to Go to College? -- A Guide to Starting Your Academic Career

FOOD FIGHT! Product Development in the Science Classroom!

How to Build a Pond Ecosystem in Your School

The Science Behind Our Food is a National Science Foundation grant administered by the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences at the University of Georgia

This grant helps to put resources into the classroom that school systems may not otherwise be able to provide for teachers. We find that most teachers want to incorporate many more things into their classrooms but, because of budgetary and time constraints, are unable to do so. Our goal is to help these science classrooms incorporate more hands-on and inquiry-based methods of learning.

We are doing this by providing:

1. Additional materials for grant-related science experiments that school systems do not have the money for.

2. Help in the classrooms in the form of graduate teaching fellows, who can lend their academic experience to creating fun, exciting science experiments that relate to real-life subjects and issues.
