  • What is SBOF?

SBOF stands for "Science Behind Our Food". It is a program funded by the National Science Foundation . Its principal investigator is Dr.David Knauft in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Georgia.

SBOF aims at creating a community including graduate teaching fellows, science teachers, and UGA faculty, who will identify science concepts that students find difficult to grasp and/or that are inaccessible given the current resources. These concepts are the focus of resources that will be brought to public school science classes.

For more information about SBOF, check out its Overview.
