Pursuing Ph.D. in Animal and Dairy Science - Major Professor:Dr. Steve Dalton
Personal and Professional Background
I began my studies at Georgia State University as an undergraduate in molecular cell biology. Eventually, I continued my training as a masterâs student in molecular genetics and biochemistry where was introduce to teaching. First, as a teaching assistant to undergraduate biology students; next as a teaching assistant to high school and grade school students in the Bio Bus program. This exposure to students showed me the importance of exposing science to others.
Now that I am attending the University of Georgia, I feel very proud to be a part of such a program as The Science Behind Our Food. This will allow me to continue exposing others to science, which is very important to me.
